Frogs . . . Which type?

We are researching for the "Corner Rainforest" and have it narrowed down to the D. auratus but when it comes to the different colors are they morphs meaning the exact same species and will interbreed no matter the color, or is each color only breed with it's own color?

Pairs? We figured the viv to be just short of 90 gallon mostly a piece of pie being 24x24x36 for the foot print and 36 inches tall. Is it importand to have even numbers of the sexes 1-1 2-2 3-3 ect.?

It's better to keep it to one morph and focus on breeding them, hybrids are the bottom of the barrel. The colors are from different locales so each morph is from a slightly different region.

Most females are pretty aggresive and will fight to the death. Look up leucomelas, they do excellent in a colony and will produce tads rather easily.

He's hit the nail on the head all dart frog morphs are from different areas. D. auratus can be found in Hawaii (green black) to Panama (togo, Blue black, green balck).

I see, I had figured, but everywhere I looked neither recommended or advised against housing different morphs with each other. So species of the same morph are recommended, what about diferent species togeather?

This tanks is small by no means, just afraid 2 will get lost in there, 2 other additions that will mostlikely be added is a 1.1 U. Phantasticus, or heniki. Playing well togeather is a requirement.
