Bulls Eating Habits

I have a 5+ft male Bullsnake, that generally eats 1 medium rat every ten days. And when it starts its shed cycle of coarse it doesn't eat. But here's the thing, after his first shed cycle he won't eat due to the fact that he will have another shed cycle usually within a month after his first cycle. So he goes without food for sometimes up to 50 or so days. Has anyone else experienced a herp that has two shed cycles in such rapid succession? After his second shed cycle then he goes back to the 1 medium rat every 10 days for about 3 months, then the whole process repeats itself.

Thanks,
Mike

Re: Bulls Eating Habits

Our boa shed in Feb and again in March almost 1 month to the day but she ate between sheds. The longest she went was 18 days and she was ready to eat. We've only had her since Jan. so don't know what kind of pattern we will see. She's 6 ft and 10.8 lbs.
