my spike passed away
while I was at work last night spike passed away, my husband and daughter watched him die, my husband said he was acting strange for a few minutes he then walked over to his veggie bowl and threw up a big chunk of veggies and then laid down, my daughter nudged him and he barely moved, then he just stopped breathing, until then he had been doing great, eating,shedding and growing, he was 9 months old and full of attitude.
i am very sad, spike was our first bearded dragon, we fell in love with him at the pet store, he only had one foot, his other feet were eaten by the bigger babies they had kept with him, he was so small and we werent sure he would make it but 8 months later he seemed just fine and then this, i am glad that it happened quickly and my husband said he didnt look like he suffered any he just went to sleep. i will always wander why, and if any one is wandering he ate his veggies and crickets his temps were just right and I followed all the care sheets that I have read, spike will forever be missed who would of thought something so small could affect a whole family the way he did thanks for reading chris, b.k. , amanda, erika, scottie, jarred, & nicholas |

aw so sorry to hear about your loss.
 sounds like he had a wonderful life while in your care and i'm sure he was happy with you.

I am so sorry about your loss! It is wonderful that he was able to die surrounded by people who love him.
