It was VERY sudden. He was only 7 and was as fit as a fiddle, although a LITTLE on the chunky side. As of right now i'm blaming it on my sister...(because its easier than blaming myself) I moved him up into her room on monday to make room for Scooter and everything seemed all fine and dandy, he's used to being moved all over the place and he always adjusted well. (tank was the same, temps were the same, feeding schedule, environmental stressors, handling were all the same) I saw him on tuesday night and he was still looking great. But then my sister came down to my room last night to tell me she had found him 8 hours before dead, he's dug himself a littlw hole, crawled in it and died. Of course she waited too long after finding him to tell me so I can't do a necropsy. I guess it's just going to be a mystery. My mom put him in the freezer until the ground thaws so he can have a proper burial in our 'pet cemetary'.
Thanks for all the support guys...he was one of my favorites!
