Fritz the frog
One of my green tree frogs, the young small one, died today. I saw it alive one minute, dead the next. I feel bad, it never really destressed from the move. The pet store didn't take good care of it but I hoped I could make it better. I guess I was wrong.
Cya later, Frtizy.

He wouldn't turn the normal green color. He just stayed brown all the time, wouldn't soak in the froggy bath, didn't appear to eat much (thin legs) and had an ever increasing belly size. It was captive bred, so no parasites should have been present. It was just a little grump who overstressed.

Just for future reference...even captive bred animals can get parasites,,,when in doubt, see a vet.

I just realized that they can still stick to the glass even when they die...so I likely didn't see it alive in its last moments. The swollen belly must have been from bloating of the..ahem...corpse.
