I would like to say goodbye

We are feeling a little low right now as we've had to say goodbye to several of our much loved animals over the past couple of weeks.

First to go was one of our rats - Mindy. She was a beautiful rat, and very friendly and loving. Unforuntately she was riddled with tumours, and rather than put her through the trauma of a big op we decided to have her put to sleep, as she wasn't young and had a good life and I wanted to end it kindly. Sleep well fat rat. We all miss you.

Last week we lost our indian ornamental T - and this week our greenbottle blue.. we are totally clueless as to the cause of their deaths.. up until a couple of days before passing they were eating and molting well, active and alert and feisty little things, and then deceased very quickly.

Last but not least, tonight we returned home, and after only checking on her last night, found our beautiful whites tree frog Miss Piggy dead.

It's so hard to lose an animal, and I hope they did not suffer. We provided them with good homes, plenty of love and the right care. Feeling very low at the moment, but we will never forget any of them. Sleep tight my little ones.

Rachel,

Sorry to hear of all your misfortune. They usually say it comes in 3's, in your case you've had your share and then some. I hope all is well now. God bless!

My condolences, Rachel and Joe, what a difficult time this must be for you! I wish you a lot of strength and courage. It's so hard to lose a pet.

On the bright side, you have had lots of hatchlings and are witnessing the natural circle of life all around you.
