Link (my emerald basilisk) died on Saturday night. He didn't even finish his supper. I think that last week was just too much stress for him. We had a smoke emergency in the house, so had to remove all the reptiles and birds and cats and dogs to my office in the barn. We had no way of telling how much smoke they actually inhaled. I had it plenty warm in there for them all. I had two heaters going. They all were in small carriers, and it was a very stressful time for Link. The others were just excited because they got to have a car ride and go somewhere. lol Link just did not appreciate car rides like the rest of the reptiles, he preferred the sanctitiy of his cage and my room, where he felt safe exploring.
