The rescue was too late.
Tiny (as we'd begun to call her) passed away Friday afternoon. My mother is quite upset, but I reassured her that we had done everything possible to save that little one, we simply got there too late. I told mom that 2 weeks cannot make up for a full year of poor husbandry.
We're consoling ourselves with the fact that her last two weeks were spent warm, under good UVB, and with good food.  Rest in Peace, little one

That's sad. I'm sorry to hear it.
You're right though: at least her last days were spent warm, comfortable and with good food. And that's really nice!

so sorry to hear about that but yea its hard when she went so long with poor care. i'm sure she was quite happy to have someone new taking care of her that could provide her with what she needed.
