Don't hand feed. I learned that by mistake. Very sharp teeth. I'm in the process of making a larger enclosure for mine with 6-8 inches of soil. They just love to dig.

Well this guy is very skittish so I dont think hand feeding will be a problem. Did yours start out this way? Like being very nervous and eating when no one is around? Oh and yes, I know they love to dig and burrow. I already have 5 inches of dirt for the little guy.
