    Raptor the Savannah Monitor

I figured I'd start a progression thread with him
Is that a snail I smell?

Looks tasty but that camra is scary!

You can't see me I'm hiding in the moss!!

Peeking out of his favorite hiding spot

Adding the moss has helped keep the humdity up and had helped stop the dirt from drying out
I can't wait for him to not be scared of me and the camra!

Yeah I love his pattern. The other one had white dots in each circle but I like that his doesn't. He's shedding his sides and tail right now

    Re: Raptor the Savannah Monitor

Well I got a new camra, unfortanly only one picture turned out lol! I can not keep a grip on anything on the feeding tongs... I have 2 different ones. My hands keep cramping up... Grr I hate fybromyalgia!!! So I need to find something easier to grip. I dropped his rather large pinky in front of him lol! I think its a rat pup, someone gave me a bag with a bunch of differnt sized rats in it, I have no idea what to do with the jumbos nothing here is big enought to eat them....

Here he is in his tunnel with his dirty pinky lol

He is also eating shrimps now, I found some head on raw shrimp so I am thawing them and cutting them up into smaller pieces and I also found some quail eggs! 24 for $3 I gave one to the Bearded Dragons, Ruby wouldnt touch it but Spikey ate the shell and just eyed the yolk for a bit lol!

    Edited to add:
I love the peach color on his sides, will that be there when he is an adult?
