Choosing a New Monitor

Hi
My name is Wes. Im new to the site and need some help. I currently own all types of reptiles. I have a Savannah monitor, 6 leopard geckos all different morphs, a Green Tree Python, a Jungle Carpet Python, a Ball Python, and 2 bearded dragons. I am considering a timor monitor but I cant currently find any care sheets for them or much info at all. I was wondering if any one has had any experience with them or knew anything about them. I know they are a dwarf species and that they like high humidity and like to dig but thats about all.

Re: Choosing a New Monitor

Hello
Good choice. I've been looking into them recently myself. They are a little skittish from what I've found out.
Here's a little info
Mampam Conservation - Varanus timorensis
Also check out this site

Just search for timorensis and you'll find some good info

Re: Choosing a New Monitor

The arboreal monitors are really not a hands on reptile. They are generally a more nervous species which is why they are in the trees I guess.
