Rescued Monitor - Can Somebody Id Him?

I just picked up another lizard from the neglectful family. Unlike the Boa and Gecko that I got from them earlier in the week, this guy seems to be in much better shape. despite having a pretty dirty cage. I'm nearly positive he's a savannah, but I haven't had a monitor for quite some time. So, can somebody please verify the species?

Can you get a picture without so much lighting? Its hard to see the pattern. Could be a Savannah Monitor. Sorry, I'm definitely not an expert, lol.
