Acanthurus Have Started Hatching
First Ackie hatched out last night. Oh yeah, first monitors I have bred and I'm pretty excited. Looks like one bad egg and four that look good to go.
Here's a quick pic. I'll post others once they all hatch out.

The first one is a good size at about 4 inches total length. As adults they supposedly reach up to 24" but I've never seen one past 20". The biggest I've had was a male around 5 yrs old and he was 18 inches.
I going to sell the these off I believe and hopefully bank some money to raise up another trio from the next clutch. I have my eye though on some varanus tristis. So my plans may change.
