That site is amazing! Did you see the resources they posted? I have a feeling my spare time will now be spent there for a little while, reading up on those. They're even giving out research advice on the forum they have there. Very nice. (I'm a big geek. Research is fun for me. )

For those scientific papers that you are interested in, but can not acquire on your own, you can request them in the Bibliotheca Varanoidea, which is a request format in a forum style set up. In keeping with modern taxonomy, it should actually be Bibliotheca Platynota Maybe I will bring that up for them to change or it is possible that they want to keep the old name which is more closely related to monitors.

Many are willing to share information, especially if they have it in pdf format that can be easily sent via email.
