General Mouse Feeding

Hi, I am getting a young savannah monitor tomorrow . I use to have one but had to give it away because of moving. I was wondering how to humanely kill mice? Also, is there a way that I can feed mice to a Sav without the mouse biting my Sav? Where I got my old Sav they fed him live hopper mice so he had a few scars on his face.

By the way can someone post a Sav caresheet that is correct and informational?

thanks,
-kai

Re: genral mouse feeding

Why don't you feed f/t ?. I know very little regarding monitors but shouldn't the diet be more varied than just rodents ? here's a link to 1 caresheet I found, though I cannot say it is from a reputable source
