We have pets named after anime characters, stargate-SG1. Star Trek Voyager, almost anything imaginable. We had lambs named Dinner, Hash Browns, Orange, Cowpie, etc... I know people who named there pets after plants (Daisy, Carnation, etc....) My girls are into anime and manga, so some of their pet names are a little difficult for some to understand. Some we couldn't agree on a name for, so we have: Dark Angel Rose, My Buddy Tucker, Chibi-Chibi Moon, Marty-Murphy, Lucifer, Fair Queen (aka "Evil"). Just give it a try, you'll find something that fits. My hardest one to name ended up called Saturn. My niece and nephew have a pit bull/black lab mix, they call him Chopper, but he told me to call him Otis, so Otis he is when I'm around. My daughters mule got renamed Candy *** because she just really isn't a "Beckie". My other daughters horse was renamed Alexandra, because if you call her anything ending in a long e sound she will try to kill you (her name used to be Phoebe or Baby). Good Luck

When I get my dog I might name it Peanut, but that is years down the road...I like oxymoronic names like calling an iguana "fluffy" or something like that.

i love naming things after characters from anime/manga, video games, books, tv, etc. Cain, Abel, Seth, Osiris, Chaos, Shadow, Hex, Helix, Blizzard, Logan, Jareth, Hadies, Rune...the list could go on...and on..

You sound like my girls! They went to the Youmacon in Detroit this year dressed as favorite characters, and had a really great extended weekend there with their friends! I had to go on the Youmacon site later to get picture, as they didn't take any.
