*Keeps Rosamond away from him* I'd rather he didn't eat my new baby.

Re: New Sav Tank (Sort of)
Glad to hear you're replacing the screen. Keep that humidity in there.

Re: New Sav Tank (Sort of)
Weeell, I ment that I was going to replace the present screen with new screen. The present has a big hole in it. I keep it covered with the heat lamp(day bulb). He can't get out anyway. It just makes it harder to slide back the screen.
My Sav is a happy camper. I keep all my exotics in a spare bedroom with no AC during the summer. When I come in, He's jumping all over the place wanting to be fed. I've observed him spending an entire night soaking in his water bowl on many occasions. He Poops more in water than not. I really don't believe he has a humidity problem.
"I" do have a humidity problem. It's too humid here in Georgia! In winter, You can be freezing and still sweat!

Re: New Sav Tank (Sort of)
I have a hydrometer in there. I checked it at 6:00 this morning and it was 72%. The lighting cycle runs from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on a timer. When I got home at 4:00, It had dropped to about 62% after the heat bulb had been on for 7 hours. The only thing wet in there is the water bowl.

Re: New Sav Tank (Sort of)
No problem there. I wish it was that easy for me. Of course then I'd have to live in it as well. No thanks.
