Wow, nice shed! And how coral has grown!! What a beauty.
We always take the shed length and subtract 20% to get the approximate body length. Some people subtract 15% -- as long as you always use the same percentage you can keep an accurate record of how much your snake is growing.
We keep very detailed records on all our snakes; I find it interesting and enjoyable to compare the different snakes.

I was thinking that Coral wasn´t growing... at all. Then, I compared the 2 pics and we can really see the difference.
Next weekend I´ll be able to compare the sheds and then I´ll post the results.

She´s has been shedding every 2 months, eating well and, overall, doing great. A bit shy, but never bite or musked at me.

So, I´m very pleased with her and with the snake keeping experience. So pleased that I´m already negotiating (at home) getting another snake. But , so far, the negotiation is in a standstill: I may bring home another snake IF Cristina brings another dog... So, no deal !

But, I´ll keep negotiating. Keep your fingers crossed for me
