have been to london twice, never herped tho haha. So far my fav places to herp have been costa rica and the usa...but nothing has come close to Africa! Nov/Dec/Jan is the ultimate herping time...love it here. Had a guy from london here in dec doing an eco-tour i was filming, he had a blast! They run an intensive 10 day reptile expedition here in south africa once a year for a select number of people. They also get a snake handleing course so they are actualy the ones catching the snakes..wich included spitting cobras, puff adders, pythons, black mamba...etc etc...was quite the experience for them. The one guy had never even held a snake! the rest were herpetologists tho.

Was supposed to maybe head to malyasia this year for herping and filmin i the jungles there but not happening. Thailan should be a blast!

hi there! Slways glad to help another herper out! Well may is just before winter and starts to get cooler...it is still warm but herp activity is not as much as it is now... if you could have got here this month it would have been awesome, always willing to show people around. Thailand is probably your best bet weather wise. With reptiles you have to plan everything around the weather conditions for your best chance of seeing herps.

You would still see herps here in may but not as many and probably the common ones. Head out here in our summer and yo would have a totally insane time. ANy questions just ask away!

      cheers
