Ok, I'll do it.

First is a Leopard gecko, they are considered one of the best starter lizards because they are fairly easy to care for and they have a very calm and gentle nature, except of course if you're a cricket.

Next is a Chinese Water dragon. They are beautiful when they get older, the one in the pic is a juvanile female. They can become quite tame and love a good shoulder ride once they are tame. They are not as easy to care for as a Leopard gecko or though.

And last on my list, but not least is the Crested gecko. They are very cute and fun. They are probably one of the easiest herps to care for because if you have a warm enough house they do not require any extra heat. They eat baby food as well as bugs and some comercally made lizard foods. Their temperment is great like the Leopard gecko though they don't like being held as much at first. Oh, and they climb on the walls.

I'll bite, but just because i'm bored:
This is Dizzy, he is a green iguana and he will bite your face off and scratch your eyes out unless he knows you, in which case he'll still act like you are worthless slime:

This is Mazola, my bearded dragon. He is generally pretty calm unless he can see the iguana in which case he turns black and will bite your finger off, unless you know how to read his body language and leave well enough alone. he's one of the more docile lizards that I keep:

Angry Face

These are my leopard geckos. Over all Leopard Geckos are usually pretty docile...USUALLY
B*tchface is a sweetheart:

As is Iris:

But as for Cleo and Scooter, you'd better watch yourself, Cleo just hasnt been handled much and Scooter is uhhh....*special*
Cleo

Scooter

and last but not least, the blue tongued skinks, they have alot of personality but bite harder than the other lizards. For the most part they warn you if they are going to bite (hissing and displaying)
Tequila is nice:

And Jack is a bit grumpy, but always inquisitive:

The reason they are called "Blue Tongue Skink"

haha thanks Dizzy even looks like he thinks he's better then everyone else! What I'm more or less looking for is something that wouldn't mind being say on my sholder. What are lizard bites like? Are they any worse then snakes? Are most of the bites just snaps or are they more of the leech on kinda bite?

Depends what kind of bite the lizard wants to give you if you make a skink mad it'll chomp down and croc roll, same with most of the lizards, trying to tear off flesh, but if you just ate a peice of water melon and they are taste testing you then its a little lick and a nip.
If you are looking for a docile lizard that will hang out with you a leo is a good bet, but even then you can't have them ut away from a heat source for too incredibly long.

I'd say some of the smaller ones try to bite and pull at you, but with small lizards like leopard geckos and crested geckos it doesn't really hurt too bad. I've never been bitten by a snake so I don't know how that feels.

Yeah I understand the whole heat source thing (me having a snake and all). I just know that my friend has a anole and it's very nervous and afraid of everything and he doesn't take him out of his enclosure because anoles seem to either sit nervously or run about wildly.

If you are looking for a lizard that will quietly sit on your shoulder while you go out in public it's probably a good idea not to get one for that.

First off you have to consider whether or not it's warm enough outside for the lizard, then you have to deal with people who either want to touch your lizard or want to scream if they see it. He'll have no place to go when he gets scared and it would be stressful. There are a lot of other reasons why you shouldn't just take them into public on your shoulder but I won't get into it too much.

What I'm saying is, if you want him on your shoulder around your house then great, it's a good place for that. But it could be very hard on a reptile to be brought out in public much. Just something to consider before picking up your lizardly friend.

Oh goodness no I'd be frightened to death I doubt he'll leave my house. I don't want something to show off. I just want something with personality but not the kind that will bite my face off. Not something that's just there to look at because it's pretty but is actually interested in it's surroundings...that's mainly why I liked that dragon at the pet store. It looked like he was just taking everything in around him and he knew that the person sholder he was on wasn't food and if you put something near him he wanted to examine and climb it and it was just so cute and lovable. Just like I didn't want Joe to show off, I wanted him because he was smart looking and examines everything and is quite the little escape artist. And just is so addorable when he's examining everything! Here he is exploring my room.
