impactation is when non-digestible particle substrate is ingested by the animal and it is not able to pass it through it's system. It can build up over time and when it does it is difficult for the animal to defecate, wich can cause numerous health problems.

so even that reptile sand should be rid of ? what should I use ?

impaction is where your lizard eats something he cant digest so it gets stuck in his digestive system and has to be removed by a vet..its very dangerous and can be life threatening for your lizard..

I use newspaper on all my lizards, repti-carpet and paper towels are also used.

I use newspaper or paper towels for my little guy and moss for my older dragons but I also feed them outside of there cage in a feeding box to avoid impaction

well thanks for the advice, when I get home tonight I will remove the sand and put paper towles in
