It's a nylon mesh so hot water and antibacterial soap. He actually has a "potty spot" so I'm not worried.

Would they make a hammock big enough for a 5 ft Ig? Or should I just stick to the shelves?

Sure I make hamocks big enough for an adult ig, Bob is about 16" snout to vent length -- just I have taken to framing out the hamock in PVC, but does that make it a shelf?

For an idea that is 3/4" PVC and the front bright green diagonal is 22 inches long, and the red stand off is 16 inces long, and the black and white portion along the wall is 33 inches.

Ummm I don't think thats a shelf Mar! I really think it does quailify as a hammock
Thanks for the idea to make Nadia one..he loves to be on his top shelf so maybe I'll add a hammock in his new cage we are building too! If he's going to get a whole new cage, I figure I'll just disrupt him all at the same time instead of making him mad now (with the hammock), then move him in another few weeks into a new cage, just to get mad all over again.

Here's a tough one, what do you consider these ramps, shelves, or hamocks?

They are made of fabric but framed taught with PVC then I have a rib of PVC running diagonals up it -- that is the darker texture you see.

Hamocks and such are so easy to clean as I just have to throw them in the wash, heck, my whole cage is that way, all fabric.

Looks like a mix of all three to me! LOL Whatever you want to call them...Bob loves them all and that's what counts in the long run
So you just pull the pvc pipes out and throw them in the wash? How do you keep them connected so Bob don't fall and yet be able to take them apart to wash? I'm confused....
I think your cage is so awesome!!!
