Sun Gazers (amazeing lizards)

I have had the pleasure to work and care for sun gazers now for acouple months. One amazeing lizard that I would suggest anyone who wants a neat, unique, and personable lizard in there collection. They do demand a certain amount of respect but are still pretty 'docile'. Also expensive as all **** which is alittle downside...

Finally got some photos at the pet shop, bad photographs I know

Thanks for viewing,

Cordylids are some of the coolest lizards I have two species myself, but the sungazer is one that I really desire.

Very cool looking lizard. And the pictures aren't so bad either.

I keep C. tropidosternum (tropical girdled) and C. regius (regal girdled). The tropical girdleds are the ones sold in pet stores under the false name "armadillo lizard". True armadillo lizards are C. cataphractus, and are very rare in captivity. An armadillo and a sungazer are the two at the top of my "girdled most wanted list"

Very nice Fury, you sure do know your Cordylidae, i did not think many knew about the 'false armadillos'.

Neat lizards that for sure!

Thanks Ken, and no problem.
