European Glass lizard
Wow....we saw a European Glass Lizard at the pet shop today when we went to get Sally a 20 Long Critter Cage. It was probably about 2 and a half feet long or so and absolutely amazing in appearance. Its face was awesome looking!
I found pictures of one here:http://www.tomhalvorsen.co.uk/images...slizard110.jpg and here: http://greennature.com/gallery/lizar...n_glass_lizard The pet store was feeding it dog food (wet rectangles of firm meaty looking stuff with vegetables mixed in, I think), but this care sheet says it should be getting crickets, worms and pinkies...I think I'll print a copy and give it to the guy at the pet store...http://www.wnyherp.org/care-sheets/l...heltopusik.php Does anyone out there have one of these amazing lizards? It was so cool! My brain kept saying "snake" because it hasn't got legs, but I had to keep telling myself, "Lizard" ![]()

The pet store guy claimed it eats dog food, so I'm not sure....I hope it was a herp food and something more suitable for a lizard. Gosh, it was such a cool creature.
