I had a friend give me a giant plated lizard today. I would like any info that I can get on him. Thanks

Just to make sure, are you certain it's a giant plated lizard? I know yellow-throated plated lizards, are often seen in captivity, and they share a similar outward appearance to giants.

Judging by the size of my lizard I would say he is a giant plated lizard. He is about 24" long. I will have some pictures of him on here soon though.
