Reptile Dysfunction-Can't We Get Along?

I've got questions for those of you who have a room housing more than one type of lizard.
Currently I have a room devoted to my reptiles, it contains 2 leopard geckos, one male bearded dragon and 1 male green iguana.
The big concern here is that there seems to be an overwhelming amount of testosterone in the room. The bearded dragon bobs and bobs and tries to attack through the glass just at the sight of the iguana.
The iguana doesn't posture back or bob, he just completely ignores him. I worry about the stress on the bearded dragon, but there is no where else he can be. Right now I have a towel up so that the Bearded Dragon can't see the iguana but doing that is no fair to him. When the towel is up he can't see anything and it is inconvenient to me.
Can they learn to tolerate each other?
Is it hard on the Bearded Dragon to allow him to bob and posture and freak out?
He still eats fine and isn't hiding.

What would you do?

move him to the kitchen table? I dunno. Is there any way to re-arrange the room so they see each other less?

Moving him is not an option.

Re: Reptile Dysfunction-Can't We Get Along?

Invader Zim, the Bearded Dragon I had in a about 10 months agao used to do the same thing.
Everytime I let him out he would run up to the biggest male iguana I had and posture and bob his head at his enclosure,, well one day the iguana had enough and hopped off his branches and and did everything he could to get out of his enclosure to get him, lol. Invader Zim went running down the hallway and that was the end of that. Only once in a while would he bob his head at the iguana and they were in the same room.
They eventually came to a happy medium I guess, and was not any problems,
As long as yours is still eating and being normal I would not stress it,, just keep a close eye on him. Bearded Dragons are notorious for thinking they are bigger than they are, lol

I think that as long as he is still eating you should just keep an eye on him. He should get used to his roommates eventually...

Re: Reptile Dysfunction-Can't We Get Along?

This has been going on for years. Moving them is not an option, nor is keeping my bearded dragon cage covered.

I don't keep my pets in fish tanks. They have custom built enclosures that are too large to move there is only glass on the front of the cage.

I'd have to get a kitchen table first, haha. Really his cage is far too large to put anywhere else. Phil wont allow them in the bedroom since he has to sleep during the day.

Nicole- The bearded dragon runs right up to the iguana, I think he's more hacked off that the iguana wont give him the time of day, I have tried introducing them but Dizzy doesn't care and Zola squiggles and squirms to try to get out to attack Dizzy, but he charges at him and then doesn't know what to do because Dizzy just keeps sitting there like a lump.

Re: Reptile Dysfunction-Can't We Get Along?

The big problem is that we have double mirrored closet doors so there is no where to hide.
