Hi All

Hi out there,

Question.... Does anyone own Sailfin dragons. I have 2 webers type in a viv.

One layed eggs the other day, so we defo know she is a she, just not certain of the other one.

Don't think the eggs were fertilized, but they were about 2" in length about 1" in width and a lovely white oval shape. Looked pretty good but caught us a bit unaware and had no incubator so fertilized or not we lost them.

If anyone knows of any info, I would me realy gratefull to hear from you.

Thanks

Jenni

Re: Hi All

i think most of the regulars here don't have sailfins. They aren't common here in the US. There are a few people from southeast asia (i think) who keep them, but haven't been around in a while.

What size is your viv? I would love to see pics.

I have attached a couple of photos for you to check out and yes they are fantastic animals.....

They are in a corner unit 3ftx3ftx1.5x1.5x2ft and is 3ft tall.

they need a lot of climbing material and use wood chippings for substrate

Re: Hi All

yikes! I would put a wire cage around that heat emitter! They could very easily get burned.

Yes but still well within jumping range.
I'd cage the emitter.
