Anyone in Indiana?
I live in Indianapolis, and have a dilemma. I have to have surgery next month in Florida, with several weeks recovery time. I have people to take care of all our various pets, except the geckos (2 Leopard Geckos, 2 AFTs). It's not that no one would take them in, it's that they don't know enough about gecks for me to feel comfortable handing them over.
So, I'm wondering if any of you is in Indiana, and perhaps we could discuss an arrangement where you have them temporarily, and I pay you for the effort & whatever supplies would be needed. I have asked a guy at Petco, but he happens to be on work release from jail, so he's asking his girlfriend. I'd have to meet and see if I trust her, but, if it doesn't work out, I need a plan B (and perhaps a C). I am leaving on November 6, returning about three weeks later, then another 2-3 weeks laid up until I could resume their care. I will miss them so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for thinking it over. Jennifer Gal
