Re: Difficult to chose.
I'm not sure what the size of your cage is, or what you're looking for in a pet, so that makes this really difficult.
The Lepidophyma flavimaculatum is certainly the prettier of the two from a purely aesthetic standpoint. But I wasn't able to find a lot about the care of one, except that it's primarily an insectivore and tropical. I assume it's active at night, because they call it the yellow-spotted night lizard. The Cordylus c. tropidosternum, on the other hand, I was able to find care sheets for right away. They seem to be more desert creatures. High heat, low humidity. A range between 80 degrees F and 120 during the day, which means you'll need a rather large cage. Active during the day. Insectivores that supposedly eat plants as well. (We all know how that goes.) Based on the fact that it seems to be a lot harder to find information on the care of the Night Lizard, I'd go with the Sungazer. Unless by Crocodile Lizard, you really meant Shinisaurus crocodilurus - that's totally different.

Re: Difficult to chose.
The cage is 80 x 60 x 60 cm so it's good for a pair of ether. The common names could be wrong as I had done my best to find them vary little information is avalible on Lepidophyma flavimaculatum so I tranlated the German common name verbatum. The need by the information I found temps 26-28C and humidity of 50-70%. And are not UV dependant.
Heres a pic of the Night lizard. And the Sungazer ![]()
