sailfin dragons??

does anybody know where the sailfin dragons' forums are?? or arent there any for sailfin dragons?

I can't ssay as I have ever heard of a sailfin dragon.
Do you know the latin name or could you post a picture?

Sailfins are awesome looking dragons,,,Similiar to a water dragon but with a large fin standin on its back...What kind of info are you looking for?

Isn't it illegal to keep threatened species? Or is that just for the endangered?

I really do need to keep up with these types of laws, but that's a difficult task.

Interesting animals, though, and HUGE.

They are from Indonesia I think.

some from indonesia and some from the philippines.. the philippines had stopped exporting these guys but selling them locally isnt (i hope not) but I havent read and heard of any laws regarding these matters..

i hope im right..

i just wanted to know the remedy for swollen eye..

It doesn't look like anyone here has much experience with them, but if yours has a swollen eye, I'd strongly recommend taking him to a herp vet pretty quickly. The vet will be able to figure out what's wrong and hopefully fix the problem.

Do you mind if I ask what area you live in? If you don't already have a herp vet, we might be able to find one for you in your area.

Im from Cebu, Philippines. herp vets are very difficult to find in here because very few people get into the herping hobby.. please direct me to a herp vet near or in my area.. it will be very much of an help

Hi Gorio, I am in Cebu last month. Just visited HCN again today after several weeks due to hibernation

Its more commonly called Sailfin Lizard here in the Philippines. This is a very nice lizard that can also run in the water like basilisk. They are green colored when young. Adult males looks awesome, they have a nice Sail like fin at the back and if I remember it right their back is colored violet.

Anyway, hows the eyes of your pet sailfin?
