It depends. Some stores have policies to only buy from wholesalers and will not deal with inidividuals. It would be a good idea to visit stores in your area and inquire. However don't expect to make too much money on the deal. The way successful stores stay in business is to buy cheap and sell high.

Merlin Hit point on what I was trying to get across. Check with the stores in the area. Make sure the'll buy what you want to breed. I have a good relationship with a few stores in the area. In a pinch I can let go of whats not selling for me, though you won't get much for common reptiles, don't even think you'll make money selling to pet stores unless your breeding alot. This year I let go of 4 leopard geckos to one shop for only 60 euro. They were the last of last years bunch. Normal corns may only bring in 5-10 dollars based on what pay to have them shipped to them. If you decide to breed, do so because you care for the animal and make shure the'll sell. If you decide for cornsnakes invest in breeding out a color phase thats not fairly common and you'll be set.

There's lots of possiblities to make crosses with amel corns, from red corn I'm taking it you mean a normal. So a normal and snow cross would give you 100% het amel and Anrey offspring.

For genetic examples and calcualtion as well as pictures of morphs check out Kornnatter / Cornsnakes Lexikon - Farbvarianten der Kornnattern / Cornsnake Picturegallery - Home the page is also in english.

Breeding these two forms are alittle diffrent as they are line bred forms. I checked your new corn post and it looks like you have a Amel. With the Okeetee you could breed reverse Okeetees and with the Miami Candy canes. These really don't bring in a good price as the are only single Homo animals. Top sellers for me are Lavander crosses, striped crosses, bloodreds, and carmel crosses. If blizzards intrest you then I know there are Pewter corns (Anrey B, Bloodred) avalible most places. The price is around 200 euro here, but worth the investment. Your first year you'd have tripple het's and in the F2 (Family 2 generation) a chance for Amels, Anrey B, Blizzards, Bloodreds, Fires, and Pewters.
