A baby dragon, watch out it looks almost old enough to start breathing fire It looks like it may be related to a basilisk judging by the legs, which means it's probably from Central or South America, but I'm no expert. Who's is it anyway?

My guess was Green Basilisk also.

This came to me through an e-mail asking me to help identify the lizard. Originally the owner thought it was an Iguana, now he believes it is an Anole. I'm still leaning toward basilisk.

To me, it has the head of an anole, the crest of an ig, and the legs and tail of a water dragon Cute little fella
I don't think he is a basilisk, but keep us informed if you find out its identity Purely on its colour, I would say it requires tropical conditions?

As an afterthought, by the last pic, it's eyes look sunken??.. it may be dehydrated.

There was an article on basilisks a few months back in Reptiles Magazine. It talked about green and brown basilisks, maybe have a look? Aren't anoles, igs, and basilisks all "iguanid lizards" anyway?

All the basilisk species I have seen have a sail like dorsal crest, not individual spikes like this guy.

Is it something that he caught or bought?
If caught what was the location?

Hello,
Where was this reptile inherited from? Was it wild caught, and if so, from where. Was it purchased? If so, from who.
You know the drill Dominick. lol In order to help identify the reptile, we need some background info to go on.
