I'm sorry to hear about Patty. That must have been hard. You are really doing a good thing by all these animals. It's a shame that a "rescue" could abuse animals so badly for so long.

wooooooow!!!! they're really keeping you on your toes but its good to read that many of them seem to be improving. i hope it continues to work out. i've been checking in on the other threads on the random rescues and i'm glad I found this one too. they will definitely always be grateful for your time and effort you spent on helping them in any way you can. you're doing such a wonderful job keep up the good work.
