I would supply them with a small water bowl and spray the tank as well early in the morning as if dew had fallen. Some will drink from the standing water and some will lick the water drops off the leaves and branches. But you don't want high humidity or for the enclosure to stay damp all the time.

Allright cool.

Yea I usually spray the 2 longest part of the glass right at like 5/6am (when I get up for work)

is it safe to have a Log in there? or should I remove it, and just have rocks in there?

Nope logs are fine. As long as, like the rocks, it is secured so that it can't fall over on the lizard.

People get some strange ideas!
Unless the log is green or soaking wet it isn't gong to have that much moisture to it, If it is that wet leave it outside to dry off first. Now if it has been in the water like a lake or stream I would definitely disinfect it before use.

My view on Collared Lizards, for what it's worth...

I used washed play sand for years. Recently I changed them out onto coconut fiber. i did this for no other reason than because I had an abundance of coconut fiber, and the sand needed replaced for hygienic reasons. I do not mist, I don't leave water in the cage permanently. Every couple days I offer water, either in a shallow dish, or in a cup that I hold for the lizard to drink out of. I keep the humidity very low in my Collared Lizard enclosure.

My Collared Lizard, Chomper...

No idea how old Chomper is. I've had him about three years. He was a rescued lizard. He's about 9 inches, if that means anything.

Coconut fiber is sold as Bed-a-Beast, or Eco-Earth. It comes in a compressed block that you put in water to expand. Just make sure you let it dry out completely before using it for a collared lizard.
