I didn't really know where else to put this, I know it's not a lizard.

Let's clear something up. "Whole prey" has nothing to do with whether or not the prey item has a back bone. "Whole prey" just means that the prey item is being fed in its entirety: brains, heart, lungs, blood, the entire animal. Whole animal+intention of feeding it to another animal=Whole Prey.
Wow, that's pretty awesome/shocking...kind of scary though!
Yea that dude has some major cojones!

Its also possible that its the old snake charmer's trick of sewing the mouth shut!
All the power in a croc's jaws is directed in closing of the mouth. The ones that open the mouth are very weak.

Merlin- there are several years worth of videos of this same crocodile on Youtube (he's missing an eye). He wouldn't last very long with his mouth sewn shut.

He would if he was being tube fed. Thats the way the snake charmers did it with their cobras.

That's lame. I'll see if I can dig up any feeding videos.

I'm not saying that this is the case here but the fact that the croc never opens its mouth is suspicious.

Merlin I couldn’t agree more with you. However, after doing a bit research on you tube i found only two separate videos in which this individual was able to open Poncho's mouth. Regardless of that, I am still very suspicious as to why in fact this crocodile is so "docile". Could it by some form of tranquilizer? Or could it truly be one of those rare cases?
