    Scientists Discover Influenza's Achilles Heel: Antioxidants

    As the nation copes with a shortage of vaccines for H1N1 influenza, a team of Alabama researchers have raised hopes that they have found an Achilles' heel for all strains of the flu -- antioxidants. In a new study, they show that antioxidants -- the same substances found in plant-based foods -- might hold the key in preventing the flu virus from wreaking havoc on our lungs.

    LOL! They act like this is something new!
    Holistic/herbal healing practitioners and health conscious folks have known about the benefits of antioxidants in fighting disease for years!

    Maybe it has something to do with some "scientists" not taking holistic healing too seriously, plus, they get to spend lots of time and money finding out what`s already known!! But the article is very interesting, the poisons that can kill can also heal, who knows just how beneficial some of these "deadly" animals will turn out to be....
