Handling after feeding

I was wondering if anyone would know if it is unhealthy for the leo if you were to handle it right after feedings? I had a ball python and I remember that I had to hold off on handling it for a little while right after a feeding because it could cause the snake to get an upset stomach and sometimes vomit. I guess that would go for any snake actually.

I usually hold him for a little while before I feed him each night but tonight he ran right up to the side of the tank when he saw me come in to the room and I figured he had one thing on his mind and it wasn’t handling.

By the way, I am toying with the name Squiggy for my leo.....I thought it was different and kinda fits his behavior. My wife thought it was an excuse to buy another one in the future and call it Lenny....from "Laverne and Shirley".

I would give your leo a few hours to digest its food just to be on the safe side.

Depending on how "tame" the gecko is, the stress of handling could cause it to regurge if handled too soon after feeding.

Even if it's tame, I would leave it alone for a while because they're pretty hyped after feeding and you want them to calm down and have access to some heat to start digesting the food.
