My new baby gecko seems to like rubbing against things like a cat would your leg...is this normal or should I worry?

Has it s colors dulled,,,could be getting ready to shed,,,mine do that.

He shed last friday and he's 6 weeks old...

At six weeks old he could very well getting ready to shed again
At that age they grow so fast they can shed every week or two
If this is not the case then I would look for the presence of mites-not usually found on Leopard Geckos but anything is possible
Do you also keep snakes and have you obtained an new one recently?
also-do you have a humid hide for your Leo?
