Well, my room has nothing but red lights on at night and when I walk out of the room, all I see is red hues. But I use the red as well, if I use any lights at night.
Good looking animal though, I like the way Leopard Geckos always appear to watch you.

I just had to take that light out, it was to hot. I'm using joes lamp now and have his lamp on joes tank

Well they do make the Ceramic Heat Elements and black light bulbs...but I love being able to see the night animals doing their thing and that is easiest with the red bulbs.
And as for Leopard Geckos appearing to watch you?? they DO watch you. very personable little guys. And yours is adorable. Thanks for sharing

I've been asking about ceramic and a couple people said they were bad and shattered so went to the pet store and asked if they carried them and they said they had some shiped in but never sold them because they put them in a tank out back with nothing in it and every single one of them shattered after a period of time...just to let you guy's know. And no problem Lyn! He came out to watch me but I guess I'm boring because he fell asleep in his watching position

I've used a ceramic heat emitter for a number of months and it's still fine.
