Weird cat like behavior

Hi!
Just now I was feeding my new leo and she did the most weird/amazing thing: I was stroking her back and she arched her back and stretched her legs in a very similar fashion to cats when you are stroking down their backs.

Cats do that because they enjoy the contact and I have a lot of doubts she did this for the same reason.

Can someone enlighten me? =)

Thanks!
Ricardo

My Leopard Geckos do it too.....they do all kinds of weird things.. Like flicking their tails when they are hunting. I was going to link you to a video, but the site I use is down, so maybe after I get off of work.

Can't see the video Lacey, they're cutting down on bandwidth. I'll try later.

Anyway, I've seen her flick her tail a few times, while hunting and specially when she approaches me to climb to my hand. Must learn their body language, I'm sure they mean different things.

I've also seen a funny thing. She was resting in one hide and I dropped a meallie outside the entrance. The meallie started going in, she opened her eyes just a bit to check the meallie out and when I thought she was going to eat it, she snapped her tail and the meallie ended up a few inches away from the hide's entrance =)

One of my males arches his back like that when he wants to be left alone lol

They all wiggle their tails though when feeding and do appear very cat link in their pouncing lol
