my leo died today
My poor little Leelee died today. I don't know if anyone remembers me posting about him in the past, but he had pinworms that I had him treated for and also his eyes were really bad. He had some bad sheds and I would use drops, a gel that the vet gave me and also tried a damp cotton ball when he shed, but his eyes just did not get better. I could no longer afford to take him to the vet (I live in Vermont and the only vet was very expensive) so I just kept trying the same things. I don't know what killed him, but he wasn't eating much anymore so I think he was just too sick. I have a feeling that he was sick from the start since I bought him from a pet store.
I don't want to buy a new one now because I'm too sad about Leelee and I think I should wait until I have enough money to bring him to a vet right away to check him out. But, I think I will want a new one eventually and was wondering if anyone knew of good online breeders to order from. I don't think there are any breeders locally for me since I live in Vermont, but I don't think I should go with a pet store again...

Awww sorry to hear about your little gecko. Considering how some petstores take care of their animals, I am not surprised if your little one was sick from the beginning.
