Leopard Geckos are rather waterproof so misting would be better for rehydration than a bath, although a bath is good for stimulating a bowel movement. They will lick the drops off thier faces or the sides of the tank and the decor. You can also force them to eat baby food if you dab a bit on your finger and then dab a bit on the leo's snout.

Well, tell them to stop useing any fruit, and not to use veggies. Crickets, and meal worms will do. To hydrate the leo you can use pedialite through a needleless syringe. Don't over do it though. A vet is surely what they need to do though. If you did not already tell them. They need mainly a herp vet. Usually these dog cat vets are not educated much on herps, even if they do it will probably cost alot more for just walking in the door.

hi. is it too late to make a suggestion? oh well, too bad if it is, i'm making one anyway

it's called PARA-zap. http://www.parazap.com/ read the faqs. this stuff is great.

i've had some problems with my lizards and i'll feed them this stuff (in the liquid/tea form) for a week or so and they like it and they usually tend to feel better. it is a natural appetite stimulant, so that certainly helps too.

it seems kind of expensive, but it's not. you get this little plastic jar of it and you think, "this it what I spent all that money for?" but it lasts forever. you only use a tiny amount each time you use it. you can either shake your crickets in it or make a liquid potion, which I prefer, because that way I know my lizards are getting the right dose. but you can't overdose you herps on it, it's all natural and safe for them.

usually when I notice any of my lizards looking a little off, i will use the stuff. always when I first bring a new lizard home, i will use the stuff on him. just in case.

oh, and as a sidebar, i wouldn't bother feeding them fruit, it will do no good and is not natural to a geckos system. if I were going to feed them anything that isn't bug related it would probably be meat baby food...like turkey or something. but usually it's best with assisted feeding to puree up some crix and mealies (gross, i know, but it's best for them) with a little apple juice (or pedialyte) and try feeding that from a needless syringe or a pipette.
