Spazzy Duke

My excitement for the evening:
Duke was climbing the walls so I took him out while I was goofing off at the computer. He was sitting on my chest like he always does and suddenly he started lashing his tail and then took off like a shot towards my arm. I was afraid he'd sky dive onto the floor and hurt himself so I grabbed him around his middle with one hand and for my effort he gaped his mouth, tried to bite me, HISSED, and squirmed and clawed for all he's worth until I threw him back into his cage! Little monster! I have no idea what startled him but I thought you all might enjoy hearing about the Ferocious Duke Now I know what the gullet of a gecko looks like!

Perhaps....

he spotted a fly? or a shadow resembling a fly and was "hunting" and you apparently startled him when you grabbed him and he exhibited his defense for you...lol....just a thought...Lyn
