Hi. My leo doesn't want to eat. She refused food (crickets and mealies) for the last two days. I am going to try again today. Do you think that it can be from her hurt nose, or maybe she don't like the food anymore? Or could it be that she is just slowing down now that she doesn't have to fight others for her food? Or maybe it is because of winter? What do you think? Her temps, humidity etc are fine. Temps in day are 85 degrees and at night 70 degrees. The cool side in day is 68-70 degrees. The humidity is 22%. I think that the temps etc are correct. should I raise or lower them. The hide temp is 78-80 degrees always. Could that be the problem? Should I turn off the Under Tank Heater at night or maybe leave it off in the day?

Is she sleeping alot? She could be in a form of brumation (hibernation)...

yes she does seem to be sleeping alot. She is never out I have to go and get her from a hide. I just move all of them until I find her. She is still active when I hold her. What should I do? This is my first leo and I am not sure what to do. I know that my fire bellied toads have slowed down and spend most of the time in the water now so maybe that is the same thing with her. I will research later. If you know what I should do or any good websites that will explain further please let me know.

Leave the Under Tank Heater on all the time. You don't need to turn that off. If the Leopard Geckos wants the belly heat, the option should be available.

You do have a hide on the cool end to retreat too if the leo gets too warm?

yes I have a cool side hide. I got her to eat one cricket only. I'll see how she eats tomorrow.
