Leo still acting weird

Hi all,
I posted a little bit ago about my leo not eating. He's eaten a few wax worms since then and I got the temps worked out, but he's still pretty much staying in his moist hide on the warm end. I haven't seen him out of it in about a week. He also seems to have his eyes closed a lot. they aren't swollen and he can open them, but they're closed a lot. He also licks them a lot.... Is this odd? Should I have him checked out?
I'm going to buy him some crix soon to see if he eats those. He doesn't seem at all interested in the mealies that have been in his dish for a while. He still has a plumb tail and looks healthy, though.

Is it possible that he is getting ready to shed? That is why they normally will tend to stay in the moist area.

I don't think so, but it is possible. He looks pretty bright, though he does tend to shed quite frequently.

Okay, he definitely wasn't trying to shed because it's been about a week of this and no shedding...
Anyone else have any ideas?

I know that AFT's are about the same as leo's and as for the eye licking, mine does it, everything I have read seems to be that they moisten the lens of their eye like that, not sure if they are right or wrong but thats what it said. I keep a hide with moss in it and it is always wet and very warm and she seems to like it, try that and try raising the humitidy, maybe the reason your leo licks its eyes is because there is not enough moisture, I keep mine around 50 percent. Do you have a Under Tank Heater? I didn't have one at first and I went and bought a nice human heating pad with 5 settings of heat and that works wonders! Do you watch the habitat at night, my AFT sleeps all day and about 7 pm I turn off the light and turn on the red lights I put 3 to 4 crickets in the habitat and I like to sit there and watch her stalk and eat. Try putting the crickets in at night as soon as you turn the light off!

I have a leo that wont eat any sort of worms, mealies, wax, even silk worms, but she'll eat crickets, so i'd probably try that.

Wow, thanks for all the replies. I'll try to answer all the questions.
His last poo was a few days ago...and he's eaten a wax worm since then.
I do have an Under Tank Heater but it only has one setting...maybe I should get a better one. I have a thermometer that keeps track of the highest and lowest temps and his cage doesn't get lower than 70 degrees at night. I did notice that I tend to have the lights on in the room he's in a little late sometimes (he's in my bedroom as I don't have room anywhere else) but I've become a lot better about that since I realized it's probably not good for him.
His humidity is usually around 50 % but it's probably getting dry in there since my apartment is getting drier with the heat being turned on. I'll try to moisten his cage a little more.
And I will pick up some crix tomorrow. He may just be sick of worms....
Thanks again!

I was just thinking about the impaction option and started to worry that maybe that could be the problem. The only thing that he could eat in the cage aside form his food is the moss in his moist hide. Would they eat that and if they did, would it cause impaction?
Also, what does one do if they think that is what's wrong?

If you are worried about the moss you can replace it with a wet paper towel. If he is pooing then it means he isn't impacted, so keep your fingers crossed!
