She gets fresh calcium daily (on a small dish). The insects are better fed in this house then the humans are. lol I just hate seeing a skinny animal of any kind. I hope she bulks up soon. She did chase down a cricket last night so that was definitely a good sign!
Thanks for all the input everyone!

I know exactly how you feel about skinny animals -- a couple of ours needed some major fattening up when we first got them, Myssta in particular. Actually, one thing I forgot to mention: we do keep a dish of mealies in with most of our Leopard Geckos at all times so they can pick whenever they feel nibbly. I've found that the ones who do eat them have gained a LOT of weight since we started that particular habit. You're probably ahead of me there too, you definitely seem to have all your bases covered! And just so you know, it took quite a while to get her there, but Myssta has plumped right up!

Thanks, Dee. I do have the mealie dish in there. I knew it would take a while to put the weight back on I guess I just thought I would start seeing that by now. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and hope for the best. Glad to hear Myssta plumped up nicely.

I think they must be the opposite of most humans LOL. You'd be surprised how long it takes them to gain back the weight. It took us over a month and a half to get Astryd back to a decent size after she laid her last clutch of eggs, and longer to get her looking really good and broad. We had been trying to get Myssta filled out from the day we got her, and it's only the last month or so that she's really filled out too.
