Hey jbuafs, I'm not familiar with leo breeding...so, would you know what the pink means? Is it good...or bad? I really don't know...but I'd like to so if I ever breed Leopard Geckos in the future I'd know.

From what I've read pink means they are fertile and yellow means they are infertile. This is my first time breeding so I am still learning! Eventually you are supposed to be able to see veins in the egg but I don't think mine are old enough yet.

Horray for pink eggs then! Lol, I'm trying to learn from caresheets about leo breeding...because soon, my room's going to have more room in it. (Hopefully, I'm getting a loft bed, and I can put stuff under it...so I'll have more room for even more Leopard Geckos than I expected!) So first, I'll get a couple females...and then after a year or so, a male. And since I'll have more room, I'll have a place for the babies. (Like I can "modify" my closet so the doors are shorter, and the top self can be for baby Leopard Geckos!)

Good luck with the eggs, what temps are you keeping the incubator at?

How long does it usually take for the eggs to hatch? So I'll know if I ever breed Leopard Geckos someday...and I won't be doing last minute research. ^_^ Good luck with your eggs jbuafs!

Incubation is usually roughly 60-70 days if I'm not mistaken. The higher the temp you incubate at, the shorter the incubation time -- but you'll also get more males or aggressive females at high incubation temps. Most of the breeders I've ever spoken with/read up on incubate between 80-85 degrees. 85 will give you a good mix of males and females, and a slightly faster hatch time.

Yup, your most likely going to end up with females at those temps. and closer to the 70 day incubation period...
