Preparing for arrival!!
I am preparing for the arrival of my first Leopard Gecko's,
 I have a 30 gallon aquarium, and I was just wondering if there is anything special I have to use to clean the tank, or if just a good thorough clean with bleach and good rinse out will do? It did previously have fish in it, it was my bf's parents but they got a new tank and gave us this one to use. Your insight is much appreciated since I have never owned a herp or even fish myself.  Thanks so much!  |

Niki,
A 10% bleach 90% water mix will be fine to clean it. Make sure the entire tank gets cleaned, pay attention to the top under the plastic and rinse it repeatedly til there is no bleach smell remaining. Good luck with your new addition (Leopard Geckos are great pets) and post some pics when you can.
