First Shed?!

i'm not really sure if Kirra (my leopard gecko) is going to shed, but she has gotten really pale, and she is sitting in her humid hide. Does this mean she's going to shed? I'm so nervous! This is her first shed with me. I'm scarrrrred. I need support! Thanks.

Sounds like a shed to me. The skin gets cloudy looking which pales the underlying color.
And welcome to HC!

Welcome to HC! Yep, that sounds like a shed! I understand how you feel....I don't have geckos, but I was terrified the first time our first snake went into shed, but it turned out just fine. Try not to worry too much (you've already done the right thing by having a humid hide available for her), and you'll get used to it before you know it!
