Are you talking about canned ones, or ones you bought live that have died? And what "other insects" did you have in mind? Normally a leo won't go for food that's not alive, but some people have had success with feeding them canned crickets, though I personally wouldn't use them. By the way, welcome to HC

Canned crickets are fine if your leo will accept them but if you are talking about live crix that have died then no you should not feed them to your leo - dead crix can carry infections and besides which won't make for a very nice meal. Stick to live, or canned, crickets, with small meal worms, wax worms, locusts and pinkie mice as occasional treats.

Welcome to HC Laxman90,
If you are referring to Canned Crix (Can-o-Crickets) as Matt and Rachel mentioned they are fine, IF you leo will accepth them, some Leopard Geckos wont go after prey that is not alive...
If you are referring to Freeze Dried Crix that is fine as well but just keep in mind that dead prey has a lower moisture content and the leo may be be getting hydrated as well as it needs to be, so make sure they have fresh water readily available.
IF you ARE referring to live purchased crix that have died, I (as the others) would have to say no. Ask yourself, "Why did it die? Did it have a illness? And, do I want to risk infecting my Leo?" Besides, I doubt that the leo would go for a dead one anyway...

Ya I was talking bout the Can-O-Crikets. If it was hatched and immediatley fed the canned ones, would it take them through it's life? I would probably feed mealies also seeing as how I need them for the Sugar Glider in the house. I'd be able to grab other things no problem. My dad hates having live crickets around, but other live bugs he's ok with. Less of a chance for a mealie to escape than a crik. Thanks for all your help!

Canned insects are fine and you can also use freeze dried cricks to. The problem with canned insects is they go bad quick. All 4 of my Leopard Geckos,my tokays, and AFT will take canned or freeze dried no problems. I dont usually feed my tokays dead but they will take it.
